With record warm temperatures and an open schedule, I opted to ride out to the college and back. Traffic was fairly heavy but not out of hand. The real challenge was the clouds of bugs that seemed to be everywhere, but especially along the Yellow Breeches. It was definitely a “breathe through the nose” ride or swallow some unwelcome protein.
The fly fishermen are out in force, some having very patient wives who took advantage of the balmy evening to read along the banks while their khaki-wadered spouses sought out that prize rainbow trout.
I stopped for five minutes on campus to finish off my first water bottle. I realized that most pictures I take of Messiah are of the stream or the bridge, so these cherry blossoms caught my eye for something different.
